We’re headed towards winter in Oregon!

Many of you have heard that we need to rotate our foods according to what is in season…

But, what are the foods that are considered ‘in season’?

It depends on where you live—

But here in Oregon, we are going to make things easier for you and give you the most common vegetables and fruits that you can find in season.
NOTE: “In-Season” means that these foods are capable of growing in this area and season, making them the freshest and most nutrient dense foods during this time.
For example, if you are craving a mango in the middle of winter, that mango didn’t grow anywhere NEAR oregon- meaning this mango had to be brought from thousands of miles away. The longer a food is cut from where its growing, nutrients and minerals start to decay. Food is alive.

So, what foods grow best during this Winter Season in Oregon?
